Rebirthing Therapy is a therapeutic and meditative practice that promotes states of expanded consciousness. It is also a way to consciously perceive respiratory processes and a powerful tool for self-knowledge and healing from traumas and fears.

As you breathe, you send fuel to your body and let it know that you are alive. Rebirthing therapy is nothing more than breathing correctly and filling your body with life, love and healing.

Discovered by Leonard Orr in the mid-1960s, Rebirthing Therapy uses connected and conscious circular breathing so that you can access and release memories through sensations, images, and sounds, so that you only have records stored in your body that will add to your life.

During our intrauterine life up until the present moment, our body and mind have recorded several emotions, however, some of these records can prevent us from having a life that we truly want to have.

With correct conscious circular breathing, we connect with these moments in a very deep and loving way so that we have a full understanding of our history as well as the release of these memories and energies.

Breathing is life! As we breathe correctly, our body understands that we want to live more and more and this causes it to store only what is truly good for us.

The breathing pattern of those who are willing to practice this practice on a continuous basis changes significantly – it is a process of transforming the way we breathe. Through the transformation of breathing, harmful patterns of behavior and thought are also transformed, fears and traumas are released, a better quality of presence in everyday life and surrender to life experiences is developed, as well as a greater capacity for concentration and emotional balance. The experience of observing oneself breathing – knowing oneself breathing – creates a sincere connection with individual authenticity and with the inner voice, stimulates self-acceptance and the identification of personal qualities. With the development of more relaxed breathing, there is a reduction in stress and the recognition of a new register of relaxation, the respiratory register.

A Rebirthing session can be a more or less intense experience. This depends on the purpose of the work and, mainly, on the disposition of the person breathing and what this individual needs to be integrated. There is no right or wrong in this context, each body has its own wisdom and breathing only supports the flow of information. Each experience is unique.

HOW DOES REBIRTH THERAPY WORK?

EXPLANATION

The first part of the therapy is understanding the power of breathing, the benefits and processes that occur during the session. At this time, all doubts are cleared so that the rebirth can happen in a conscious and profound way.

BREATHING

After any doubts have been cleared up and the understanding of the process has been fully assimilated, we will practice connected circular breathing. This is the basic breathing of rebirth. Only with correct breathing is rebirth possible.

RENAISSANCE

The rebirthing session takes place on the floor, preferably on a mat. For a set period of time, you will breathe in circles and release energies, memories and sensations in a profound way.

INTEGRATION

At the end of the session, you will have time to integrate the emotions experienced and relax. Integration is very pleasurable and it is at this moment that the feeling of being reborn into a new life becomes evident.
